My client is a tier 1 business in their industry - a newly created opportunity has come available to join as an experienced Accounts Payable Manager, looking after a small team, reporting and continuous improvement.
You will be joining a scaling business, collaborative & hard working environment.

You will be leading the Accounts Payable & Receivable function nationally, to ensure timely & accurate payments to suppliers. You will have the responsibility of managing and developing the team, improving processes / procedures to drive efficiency and best practice.

**Location**: CBD | hybrid working
**REM**: $130,000 plus super upwards (experience dependant)

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead the establishment and implementation of policies, processes and systems, and identify areas for improvement
- Document, manage and improve best practice policies
- Ensure appropriate payment approvals have been obtained in line with DOA
- Monitoring aging reports to track outstanding receivables and taking actions to minimise overdue payments
- Provide recommendations and relevant information to management to enable informed decisions about suppliers, payments and cash flow

**Job requirements**:

- 5+ years working experience in a similar role
- Experience in people management (off-shore would be beneficial)
- Jobpac or CHEOPS experience (beneficial)
- Proactive & positive attitude
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- Proven experience with process improvement
