Role Responsibilities

Lead a team of nine fitters and electricians across three shifts (day, afternoon and night) and Maintenance Planner
Actively involved in H&S Committee ensuring maintenance are closing out hazards
Valued member of the site leadership team, working cross-functionally to support plant performance, deliver initiatives and foster a high-performance culture
Work with the Maintenance team to develop and deploy preventative maintenance program
Lead the execution of the PM Pillar as part of a broader Operational Excellence initiative
Involvement in capital projects in partnership with project engineers where required
Partner with Production leaders to drive the plant performance through effective maintenance of machinery

Technical Skills & Experience Required

Engineering degree preferred
Five years’ experience in a leadership role in a medium to large manufacturing environment
Proven experience leading and implementing TPM / Lean Operational Excellence priorities
Ability to lead RCA and support the team to resolve issues at the cause and implement solutions
Prior experience managing a budget greater than $1m
High level of technical aptitude
Ability to maintain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
