**The Client**
This multicultural, global and project-based engineering solutions business is growing and constantly winning new projects both Australia-wide and on an international basis. They are seeking a technically strong treasury analyst/ accountant to support the finance team and work with international stakeholders and treasury teams in Europe and Asia.

The team is small, collaborative and hands-on with. The team reports into multiple stakeholders in different foreign jurisdictions and works hand in hand with multiple JV partners. If you love working with banks and enjoy The environment is supportive but the role will be autonomous and not for the faint of heart. Working within tight deadlines and producing flawless accounts is essential to work on this team.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Treasury Accountant/Specialist will be responsible for the following:

- Monitoring, controlling and forecasting the current and future cash flow and banking including recording transactions correctly on the ERP system and ensuring all covenant and reporting requirements are met.
- Monitoring, controlling and reviewing all foreign currency accounting and risks including managing hedging strategies for the business on a variety of projects
- Middle office role interacting with Accounting, Accounts Payable and Tax to ensure proper cash management and bank reconciliations to support month end close off processes
- Cash forecasting and management of cash calls from inter-company facilities and JV partners
- Analysing data for detailed measurement of performance, financial position, cash flows and key business metrics for decision-making, investment and funding requests
- Use of Treasury Management systems
- Management of the banking facilities ensuring all interest income accruals, borrowing cost calculations and bank reconciliations are up to date and accurate
- Assist the Senior Financial Accountant in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting

**About You**
You have 2-3 years of commercial experience gained in a role that would focus on cash management. Treasury and foreign currency management would be ideal. You are an adaptable self-starter who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and who continually looks to improve things as you find them. You will be happy to get stuck in quickly and enjoy getting involved in a variety of adhoc tasks. You have intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and adapt quickly to new accounting software. Experience in SAP, OneStream and Hyperion would be beneficial.
