**About the role**

Supporting the engineering and maintenance activities for Australian Defence Force (ADF) Ground Support Equipment (GSE) assets and associated Repairable Items, you will be responsible for maintaining GSE technical integrity as approved changes are made to maintenance regimes, parts and publications.

Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, you will also be responsible for the delivery of Engineering and Maintenance Services. This includes managing the relationships with Operating Units, RAAF Mechanical Equipment and Operational Maintenance Section (MEOMS), Joint Logistics Command (JLC) and Other Commonwealth Contractors.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- Making recommendations to address RODUM raised defect reports through technical investigation and analysis.
- Analysing engineering change requests and develop engineering changes.
- Technical assessment and safety analysis of new items and proposed changes to existing GSE to determine preventive maintenance regimes.
- Technical Information (TI) development: prepare and submit changes to technical records, publications and data for approval.
- Managing the baseline configuration of GSE assets and ensure publications and maintenance policy reflect the current approved status of maintenance plans, schedules, maintenance venues and authorised parts.
- Conducting support activities for the GSE Service Desk function to ensure enquiries from customers, external maintenance providers and suppliers are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Monitoring and auditing the maintenance for GSE conducted by external maintenance providers and new and pre-existing Commonwealth contracts.

**About you**
- Successful completion of a technical type certificate
- Knowledge of MILIS and the MMM Module
- Experience working within a System Program Office (SPO) type environment
- Understanding of Maintenance Requirements Determination and Logistics Support Analysis in the Defence environment.
- An understanding of Land technical regulations.
- An understanding of Australian Air Publication (AAP) system and amendment procedures
- Knowledge of Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
