**About the role**

Supporting the acquisition activities for Australian Defence Force (ADF) Ground Support Equipment (GSE) asset portfolio, you will be responsible for the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements of newly procured assets to produce full-service release in accordance with CASG policy.

This position is part of a high performing and efficient Acquisition team within the GSE Asset Management Services (AMS) organisation, which focusses on the effective management of the Introduction Into Service (IIS) of GSE on the behalf of the ADF. Reporting to the Senior Technical Officer, you will also be responsible for the delivery of articles being produced, to successfully handover service released assets and a fully ILS supported fleet to the respective Sustainment Fleet Manager.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- Carry out technical assessment and draft of the spare parts required for planned servicing within the MRMS, and the parts in the Australian Defence Aviation Authorised Spares System (ADAASS) for through life support.
- Carry out technical assessment and safety analysis of new material and proposed changes to delivered manufacturer maintenance procedures to determine preventive & corrective type maintenance regimes.
- Provide peer review support to acquisition related articles and information systems.
- Support onboarding of key part suppliers and 3rd party providers (contractors) for the ability to raise purchase orders through our internal processors.

**About you**
- Successful completion of a technical type certificate
- Knowledge of MILIS and / or ADAASS and /or OmegaPS.
- Experience working within a System Program Office (SPO) type environment including development of engineering documents for modifications, Special Technical Instructions and amendments to AAPs.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of Maintenance Requirements Determination and Logistics Support Analysis in the Defence environment.
- An understanding of Land technical regulations.
- An understanding of Australian Air Publication (AAP) system and amendment procedures
- Knowledge of Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
