Payroll Subject Matter Expert

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to define payroll requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and business needs.
- Support system configuration, testing, and validation of payroll data migration.
- Provide input on payroll process design, workflows, and system enhancements.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for payroll teams and key stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
- Ensure successful parallel runs and post-implementation stabilization.
- Work alongside technical teams to validate integrations with other HR, finance, and timekeeping systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of payroll processes, system configurations, and issue resolution steps.

**Requirements**:
**WHO YOU ARE**
- Proven experience as a Payroll SME, Payroll Manager, or Payroll Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with **iChris** payroll system** (or similar payroll platforms) is highly desirable.
- Experience with payroll implementations, system migrations, or process transformations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-driven environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to train and support stakeholders at all levels.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with payroll systems integrations (HRIS, finance, time & attendance systems).
- Understanding of payroll reporting and analytics.
- Change management experience in payroll transformation projects.
