The Infrastructure Operations Manager will lead and manage a team of Network, System, Voice and Security Engineers and Architects and is responsible for the successful design, implementation and ongoing operational support of the AGL Telco infrastructure and related projects.

What you’ll be doing:- Day-to-day people leadership and support technical progress, drive infrastructure and architecture best practices, and empower our engineers and architects to continuously learn, improve their skills and grow their careers.- You will pro-actively support the Head of Telco Technology, to create effective strategies, competence, processes, and embed best practice methodologies, to provide quality infrastructure management in alignment with business plans.- Oversee aspects of risk management, security profiles/policies and IT infrastructure

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Ability to lead and manage a team of highly skilled and efficient engineers, architects and managers/team leaders- Capacity to manage high stress situations including incident and problem management- Experience with or good understanding of networking (Juniper/Cisco), system configurations (Windows, Linux) and security practices is essential. Voice infrastructure experience such as VoipSwitch or Cisco is highly regarded, in lieu, the ability to learn and understand such operational areas- Strong understanding or previous experience in the telecommunication industry is highly regarded- Previous experience in a similar role with people and policy management responsibilities
