**About the role**

The PRCG Riverkeeper reports to and works closely with the PRCG Coordinator to undertake projects which remediate and maintain the health of the river and its foreshores. The Riverkeeper is responsible for establishing and supporting a network of community volunteers, ambassadors, partner organisations and projects to assist the PRCG vision for the Parramatta River.

**Remuneration**

$74,879.20 - $86,420.26 (pro rata based on 28 hours) + 12% Superannuation

**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or another relevant field of study and relevant training and experience
- Substantial, demonstrated experience in working in natural resource management, community engagement and behaviour change programs or related roles
- Sound understanding of natural resource management issues in the region and empathy with the local community Position Description - Riverkeeper - Parramatta River Catchment Group (PRCG)
