The **Financial Analyst** plays a crucial role in preparing management reports, budgets, and forecasts, while providing valuable advice and insights on complex issues to a range of stakeholders in the Planning group. They ensure the accuracy of financial data and support business unit performance in line with corporate goals and Government objectives. Key responsibilities include, taking initiative, working autonomously, updating performance reports, enhancing reporting processes, and assisting with annual budget preparation. They also provide analytical support and foster productive relationships with stakeholders to meet performance and forecasting requirements.

You will collect accurate data for detailed budgets and reports in a timely manner. Additionally, managing General Ledger accounts and month-end processes for various divisions and entities, while ensuring these align with financial management reports, is critical for success.
**What is an essential requirement**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia
- Advanced MS Excel, and experience using financial systems such as SAP
