Do you love cooking and being in the kitchen? Looking for part time work with lifestyle friendly hours? We have two hands-on positions in our large-scale commercial bakery in Mandurah. These roles will see you work alongside a team of Pastrycooks to create our award-winning range of delicious products.

Make no mistake, these roles are not for the faint hearted. The role requires you to move fast and have good energy, strength and fitness.
- **Bakers Assistant - Savoury Team**_

Shifts are approx. 8am to 4pm and will include some weekend work.

This role works alongside our savoury team. You will assist in the preparation, cooking and baking of our large range of award-winning pies, sausage rolls, quiches and pasties.
- **Bakers Assistant - Food Prep Team**_

Shifts are approx. 8am - 4pm and will include some weekend work. There will also be an earlier start required at 5am once or twice per week.

This role will see you working with our small team within the Savoury Baking department that is responsible for food preparation for its baked and fresh café products. This role supports our baking team with the efficient preparation of ingredients and a large range of fresh café food such as gourmet rolls, sandwiches and salads.

Both roles offer between **20-30 hours per week**. Additional hours may be required during peak periods (i.e. school holidays, Christmas, Easter, etc).

**Skills and experience**

A certificate in patisserie or commercial cookery is highly desirable, however full training is provided.

Good reading, writing and communication skills are required in addition to the ability to follow a recipe and written method.

**We are looking for people who**:

- Have a positive attitude and are willing to learn and follow recipes/instructions
- Can move quickly and efficiently without compromising quality
- Show good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Have flexible availability across Monday to Sunday within the times mentioned above

Miami Bakehouse is a family-owned award-winning business, baking fresh products daily at our production bakery in Mandurah. With 25 years of success and 950+ baking awards to date, we are famous for our exciting products and quality.

Part-time hours: 25-35 per week

**Salary**: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
