Position summary

BUMA Australia provides a total mine service to Stanwell Corporation’s Meandu Mine to deliver coal to the adjacent Tarong power station.

BUMA Australia is responsible for both managing and operating the mine. Services provided include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations. Meandu Mine currently has five working pits, with sufficient coal to fuel the stations until at least 2037.

We are currently seeking a Skilled Infrastructure Labourer to join the team at our Meandu Mine site located 25 kilometres south-east of Kingaroy. This is a full time permanent role and a residential position; therefore, no camp or accommodation is provided.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will provide labour and support as required in a safe and efficient manner.

**ABOUT YOU**:
Ability to undertake specific projects as defined by the Maintenance Supervisor - Infrastructure

To be fit to provide labouring duties as required

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Be able to work with minimum supervision

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working with bobcats, forklifts and front end loaders

Experience in carpentry or cabinetmaking would be highly regarded
