About the Role
We have a great opportunity to lead a newly created Product Excellence team, within the Transact & Save portfolio. This team will be responsible for ensuring products and the end-to-end value chain are well managed and governed so they meet customer and regulatory requirements.
This role is ideal for Product Managers with an audit and risk background and it can lead to many career pathways within commercial banking and across the rest of ANZ.

What will your day look like?
As a Product Excellence Lead, your day will vary but here’s what you might expect:
Lead, coach and mentor a team of two direct reports
Encourage improvement and innovation within the team, seeking out new opportunities to enhance product performance
Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support product performance goals
Deliver risk treatments e.g. DDO Uplift, building and maintaining a Collateral Register and Change Playbook
Act as initial point of contact for central events team and support risk event fixes
Manage and maintain ‘Distribution Agreements’ with stakeholders across ANZ.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
**Experience in one these areas**: Product Management, Risk, Change/ Delivery Management
Experience managing operational and compliance risk, including managing issues and incidents
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer & banker experiences
Ability to make decisions and communicate direction, rationale and outcomes clearly
A collaborative approach to problem solving with experience in influencing outcomes
Ability to identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies
Experience leading, coaching and guiding a team
A strong commercial, analytical and strategic mindset.
