**General Duties & Re**
**sponsibilities**:

- Provide direction on videos
- Production for technical programs & courses
- Set timelines for video pre-production & post-production
- Schedules uses for audiovisual (AV) equipment.
- Sets up and calibrates equipment for use.
- Identifies causes for AV problems and resolves the issues.
- Operates equipment as needed for various meetings and events.
- Provides instructions for the operation of equipment to non-AV employees.
- Designs, plans, and oversees regular and special AV portions of events.
- Develops, tests, edits, and produces presentations and other multi-format resources.
- Takes photographs and videos to be used in AV presentations, publications, or other resources.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting audio, video and lighting equipment
- Preparing and positioning audio, video and lighting equipment for broadcasts and recordings
- Connecting, tuning, and configuring AV setups to ensure high-quality broadcasting
- Operating software to control AV technologies
- Preparing teleprompters with scripts
- Monitoring live feeds to ensure quality
- Finding effective means to s tore and transport AV equipment as and when it is needed

**Pre-production Responsibilities**:

- Help write and finalize a shooting
- Script storyboards & shot lists
- Set up location design, sampling, and critiquing primary shots

**Post production Responsibilities**:

- Picture editing
- Sound editing
- Secure music
- Sound mixing
- Creating visual effects
- Color correction

**Requirements**:

- Technical understanding of AV and IT systems
- Up-to-date awareness of AV technologies and their features
- Expertise in video conferencing and broadcast systems
- Extensive knowledge of the architectural, cabling, and control system requirements of AV technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and risk assessment abilities.
- Project management and deadline fulfillment skills.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Has at least certifications from CTS, CTS-D, Crestron, Extron, & CEDIA
