**The Role**

The Configuration Manager plays a critical role in supporting engineering activities by providing specialized knowledge to ensure compliance with relevant legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.

This involves engaging with stakeholders, investigating, reporting, developing, evaluating, advising, and implementing policies, processes, and procedures specific to assurance and data specifications to support Defence capability. Additionally, the Configuration Manager is responsible for managing resources in this area to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
- This will include:_
- Being accountable for exercising assigned technical authorities and any Technical Regulatory Authority delegations is a critical responsibility in technical roles.
- Safety is a critical consideration in Defence capability development, and must be incorporated into all technical configuration activities, including design and testing.

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience within Configuration Management within the Defence/CASG environment, as it involves managing the configuration of complex systems, equipment, and software throughout their lifecycle.
- Degree qualification within engineering.
- You must hold a current NV1 security clearance or higher.
