**About the company**

With offices throughout Australia and globally, this company has redefined the way industrial sheds and light commercial buildings are built and reinforced taking in to consideration seismic challenges - with cable, hanging and fastener solutions being deployed on thousands of projects around the world. They are in growth mode and need to add an Engineering Manager in Melbourne to continue to be able to deliver their in-demand services.
**About the role**

As the National Engineering Manager you will:

- Provide support and mentoring to the Sales and Engineering team nationally
- Identify and specify the appropriate materials, components, and suppliers needed for product construction, ensuring considerations for cost, quality, and availability.
- Conduct and review detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to verify the design's integrity, structural soundness, and performance characteristics.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure the design intent is effectively integrated into production processes, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with suppliers and OEMs to develop and optimize fabrication processes, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

**Requirements for this role**
- Tertiary Engineering qualifications
- RPEQ or CPEng is ESSENTIAL
- Must have practical seismic experience in Australia
- Systems improvements and streamlining processes
