About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the effective development, management and delivery of professional workplace health and safety services and workplace rehabilitation and return to work services (including Workers' Compensation, Income Protection and Health Management claims management) throughout West Moreton Health (WMH). This position will support the Covid-19 pandemic response.
About you
- Experience in proactive injury claim management.
- The ability to assist in the implementation of health and injury management initiatives including coaching and developing capability of staff, managers and supervisors.
- Sound organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results.
- Sound interpersonal, analytical, communication and negotiation skills, evidenced by the ability to engage, consult and collaborate, work in a multi-disciplinary environment and maintain effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Sound experience in workplace health and safety auditing, investigation, problem solving and identification of risks and causative factors leading to flexible, responsive, client focused solutions

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
