Implementation of daily, weekly and monthly routine wine and juice analysis during the vintage and non-vintage periods, to assist the day-to-day management of winery cellar operations encompassing wine receipt / dispatch, crushing, pressing, clarification, stabilization, blending, barrel work, juice and wine additions and pre-packaging preparations for Haselgrove branded and contract processing / winemaking products.
- Implementation of company methodologies and processes to ensure the processing and storage of wines in a manner consistent with premium quality objectives.
- Ensuring laboratory processes and standards of operation are in accordance with wine quality objectives.
- Ensuring laboratory processes and standards of operation are audited regularly and contribute to IWAG (Inter Winery Analysis Group).
- Contributing to compliance with Australian wine law statutory requirements.
- Liaise and negotiate, in conjunction with the Senior Winemaker, with external suppliers dealing with laboratory analysis.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Provide accurate and timely analysis for external customers.
- Contributing to the maintenance of detailed laboratory and winery records of all cellar activities manually as well as the Ezy-Wine software system.

Job Requirements
- We are looking for someone with relevant skills, working in laboratories, preferably in the wine industry and 5 + years’ experience.
- Flexible attitude to work hours.
- We are looking for a person who can demonstrate an outstanding work ethic, attention to detail, safety awareness and motivation to be involved in a small team environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of quality control standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, an understanding of record keeping requirements and inventory control.
