Many InvoCare clients require personalised products to help them celebrate and remember their loved ones during difficult times. The Multimedia / Digital Producer role is required to produce documents and digital presentations for distribution and playback before, during and after funeral services. The finished products are highly customised to suit the clients’ needs, whilst utilising enough of a template approach to avoid recreating the products in their entirety.

A selection of personal and professional skills that are required for this role are detailed below.

Personal Attributes:

- Compassion and empathy to deal with grieving families during highly stressful and emotional times
- Flexibility around moving deadlines
- Ability to accept that other people may have differing religious or personal beliefs
- Be able to work with multiple funeral arrangers and families concurrently
- Strong personal emotional stability, to recognise the stresses other people may be under and avoid compounding the stresses with your own feelings
- An eye for detail
- Creativity
- Excellent listening skills

Professional Skills:

- Experience with digital photo and video production and editing
- Proficiency with Adobe products, Microsoft Office products, Apple iTunes and software, You Tube and Drop Box
- High level of computer literacy
- Understanding of differing file formats, fonts and colours
- Experience producing DVDs and electronic media files (slide shows and video presentations) for playback on multiple devices
- Inventory management (stock levels for production materials)
- Familiarity with commercial printing equipment
