**Job Purpose**:
The IT Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects at Scanlan Theodore. Reporting to the General Manager, and working closely with Department Heads, the role has responsibility for all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning, resource management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement, through to the realisation of benefits as outlined in the project initiation stages.

This position is also responsible for the provision of expertise in monitoring, maintaining and improving business processes, ensuring operation efficiencies, the provision of technical support and training to the business, and management of a small team.

**Job Objectives**:

- Understanding the business, actively contribute to the IT roadmap, and help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes. Make appropriate recommendations to support strategic direction and the evolution of IT infrastructure
- Lead Scanlan Theodore’s large IT projects, including the scoping, design and deployment of new IT systems and services. Ensure business initiatives are delivered in line within agreed timeframes
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to develop solutions for IT needs
- Design, develop and rollout policies, procedures and compliance documentation that align with user needs and system functionality, and meet legislative requirements and relevant service standards
- Provide support and direction to direct reports, ensuring successful installation and ongoing maintenance of infrastructure and enterprise solutions, including hardware, software and network components
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels and make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
- Deliver skills development training and create manuals which build and support the business’ technical knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working in IT operations across multi-sites
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritise
- Track record of effective technical management, information analysis, implementation, configuration and testing, and thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems. Including retail POS, desktop, server, network and telephony systems
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Experience in leveraging business digital transformation and ecommerce ecosystem to support business growth is desirable
- Experience with the following technology: Apparel 21, Shopify, Shippit, Zendesk, Omneo, Lexer and similar is desirable
- National Police Check and the right to work in Australia
