**Responsibilities**:Minimum 3 years experience in managing SQL server and Oracle databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission
- Critical production systems.
Monitoring, fixing and tuning performance issues in Production/UAT/Dev environments.
Responsible for establishing best practices, standards.
Responsible for establishing and enforcing security mechanism.
Be a part of team
- Clustering environment on windows level and Install SQL Server 2008,2012,2016 R2 Failover Clustering in testing servers & production servers.
Writing SQL, Packages, Stored procedures, functions and triggers in Oracle and SQL Server.
Experience in implementation or configuration of ORACLE 11g solution is a good to have.
Experience in configuring high availability solution with always on SQL Server 2012 and 2016 R2.
Knowledge of eSolutions MASTER- SLAVE replication in MYSQL 5. 1.
Health check and improvement suggestions related to DB parameters, Sizing, PL- SQL and SQL script analysis, profile creation and improvements, partitioning and statistics management.
Experience in development/Test/Migration teams
Duties involve occasional travel to customer sites, to support production, migration activities
Setup and configure Database Always
- On in high performance, high availability mode as standard DR strategy.
Responsible for maintenance plan for database consistency and optimization.
Backup & Recovery of databases and process improvements.
Be a part of projects in line with the ITIL framework for change and release management to ensure change and release management are effectively managed.
Database Auditing, policies, and procedures
Responsible of delivering upgrades and maintenance services.
*Applicants are required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Statistics Mathematical, or in a technical field is preferred.
