**APS 4 Program Assistant, Social Media and Communications**:

The Library is seeking to fill the newly created position of **Program Assistant, Social Media and Communications (APS 4)** in the Communication and Marketing Section of the Engagement Branch.

**This is an on-site role, located in Canberra.**

To support the National Library’s active social media program and maintain a positive brand reputation, you will provide support functions including:

- Monitoring and reporting on social media discussion and trends, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
- Respond effectively to enquiries as part of the moderation activities. This may include some out of hours event moderation tasks.
- Cultivate online communities, fostering a sense of belonging among followers.
- Writing platform specific copy for social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Ensuring monthly content calendar is appropriately populated.
