Maintenance Technician

**The Opportunity**

Our Western Sydney Service Centre is looking for a **Maintenance Technician**, to join our team based in Erskine Park.

We are underway with a significant capital project (circa $415 million investment) to expand our operations to create additional metal coating capacity, to service our Sydney market and support the production of premium branded products, such as ZINCALUME® and TRUECORE®. We are constructing and installing a new metal coating line within our operations precinct located in Templar Road, Erskine Park (approximately 10 mins from Wallgrove Road/Eastern Creek M7 exit). **What Will You Do?**

In a role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, you will be a key contact when it comes to equipment and maintenance.

You will:

- monitor and report condition for assets based on inspections
- perform independent fault finding and maintenance tasks
- inspect, repair and Maintain the plant equipment, in line with business needs, for the designated area of the plant.
- perform small maintenance tasks and adjustments
- use trade knowledge to identify corrective actions to breakdowns and develop repair recommendations.
- supervise maintenance to ensure safe and efficient execution
- ensure key spares and components are fit for purpose and available

**More About You**

As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you’ll work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will also have:

- relevant trade qualifications ideally a Diploma in Mechanical or your industry experience has developed a strong mechanical knowledge and skill base
- strong equipment and technical skills, including knowledge of equipment strategy and maintenance, gained through a trade or engineering background
- an openness to discovery, able to recognise an opportunity and bring benefit to fruition
- actively seeks to share knowledge and expertise and network extensively
