Function Manager- Sales and Operations- Port

We are looking for a dynamic **Functions Sales Manager with understanding of Operations ** to lead the revenue generation within all market segments in Melbourne.
The position can be either on a part-time or full time appointment.
- **Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative**:
- Implementing sales strategies and achieve targets
- **Use PCO's during non-peak periods over the year**:
- Create awareness and sales collaterals
- **Establishing new business leads and follow through**:
- Build and strengthen relationships with new customers to enable future bookings
- **Develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities**:
- Working closely with the operations team and other departments
- **Provide accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management**:
- Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence)
- **Using knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to maximise Revenue**:
- Updating & maintaining Clients list
- **Monitor conference performances to set targets and budgets**:
- Identify new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32-40 per week
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours
**Experience**:
- Function sales/Operations: 3 years (required)
