Recent promotion has created the need for a proven manager to join the team and deliver in this highly visible challenge. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will influence throughout the organisation at a senior management and executive level to deliver robust advice and counsel on all control/ compliance and business improvement initiatives. Responsibilities will include:

- Executing the annual Assurance Program through regular communication and presentation with Senior and Executive leaderships teams, Board of Directors and external auditors
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure control documentation is maintained and that findings related to Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting are assessed and reported
- Owning SOX process documentation including Controls Matrix/ process maps
- Lead change management initiatives from an internal control compliance perspective ensuring that sound financial controls are built into process changes and key business initiatives. This include control implementations for future acquired businesses
- Work with the Business Controls Team to complete the SOX risk assessment and materiality assessment as well as the fraud risk assessment.

You will be a CA/CPA qualified with at least 8-10 years of internal audit, compliance and SOX Governance expertise that are complemented by demonstrable leadership and influencing skills. Prior FMCG or stock inventory-based sector knowledge within a complex multinational or sizeable locally listed entity would be highly advantageous.
