**Now, a bit about the role**:
This position has a direct reporting line into the **Web Development Manager**and has a dotted line into the **QA Capability Manager.**This shared reporting line will enable professional consistency of practices and efficient operational decision-making. This role is a part of the **ERP & Web Development**team that sits within the Digital & Business Solutions department’s **Enterprise Digital Solutions**business unit.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Champion testing disciplines incorporating system and regression testing requirements, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Accurate definition and execution of test planning activities
- Design and execution of appropriate test cases, aligned to meet specified business requirements.
- Analysis of technical designs and solutions to align with test approach.
- Ensuring project test environment, test data and access are available for ongoing test execution.
- Appropriate use of manual testing tools, harnesses and stubs to facilitate testing requirements.
- Effective communication and collaboration with project colleagues, assisting with successful project and service delivery documentation.
- Successful engagement of multiple, concurrent initiatives e.g. project and service delivery tasks
**About you**:
**Mandatory**
- Tertiary degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in a testing role, ideally working in agile development environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Preferred**
- Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar) as a sprint and test management tool.
- Application Testers will require experience with systems dependent on the team / stakeholder they work with. These include but are not limited to:
- Dynamics CRM (CE / Finance & Operations).
- CMS and marketing systems (Sitecore, Adobe Campaign).
- Experience in testing high volume transactional systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Experience using tools such as SQL and Postman for retrieving test data would be advantageous.
- ISTQB Foundation certification would be advantageous.
