**The opportunity**

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator has an interesting and dynamic remit which is equal parts Internal Communications Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator. This variety will keep you engaged and challenged, while building your capabilities and making a real impact on our business.
As the Internal Communications Coordinator, you’ll work closely with all functions of our business to bring their news to life. Guided by our annual Communications Plan and industry best practice research, you’ll be given the autonomy to create impactful and engaging content in varying formats and across our dynamic Channel Framework. With your ability to connect socially with our people, leaders and the industry, you’ll provide strategic advice and solutions aimed at continuously improving what we do. Your genuine desire to take our communications to the next level is critical to ensuring our people are kept in the loop and energized around our shared purpose of reimagining infrastructure for a better tomorrow.
In the Marketing Coordinator part of your role, you’ll provide hands on support to enhance brand and reputation of KBR’s Infrastructure Services Australia business. This includes coordinating communication and brand activities (conferences, sponsorships, awards and abstract submissions, etc.) with KBR’s business segment leaders. In addition, you’ll coordinate the development of a suite of dynamic digital marketing collateral for emerging and existing business lines as well as regular content for social media, our website and investigate media and editorial opportunities.
With such a varied role, you’ll have the freedom to drive new ideas and with the support of a hard-working, enthusiastic communications team, see them through from concept to delivery.
**Who are you?**
We are looking for an individual who is solution oriented and an innovative thinker who has the ability to dive into the detail while staying focused on the bigger picture. Responsible for both planning and executing multiple projects, you’ll be a natural project manager and all-rounder who equally enjoys planning and strategizing but is willing and able to roll their sleeves up and get the job done on time. You’re professional and confident in your abilities, and able to work alongside business leaders, customers and all stakeholders.
