**What this opportunity involves**:
You will take responsibility for a popular shopping centre based in Sydney’s west that houses several major retailers. You’ll hold lots of energy and passion to polarise centre performance and be responsible for the delivery of business plan objectives, minimising arrears, maximising property income and continually looking at new ways to add value for our client.
You’ll inherit a terrific onsite team and report to our Head of Retail, NSW who is passionate about creating true connections and ensuring everyone feels part of the big picture. We pride ourselves on being transparent, relatable and we love to have fun
Other key responsibilities include;
Complying with all acts of legislation
Providing superior client service, fostering, and maintaining tenant relationships, managing lease expiries, and focusing on active tenant retention
Close working engagement with our NSW Head of Retail, other JLL department heads and relevant stakeholders
Having a thorough understanding and appreciation of the market environment, including competition, development proposals and infrastructure
Preparing annual budget, business plan, marketing plan, and monthly reports
Actively seek out new tenants to fill vacancies
Complying with all pertinent workplace health and safety requirements and take action to ensure that any issues which may arise of a WH&S nature are resolved efficiently
Centre marketing to bolster the site and critical thinking around placemaking and strategy

To be successful, you’ll have superior communication skills (written and verbal) and be a true professional with proven success in Retail Management. Your focus has been both strategic and operational, spanning all aspects of shopping centres.
Teamwork is a vital aspect of our brand, and we’ll expect you to value this as well. It is important that you have leadership qualities to manage and develop staff.
Furthermore, you have proven experience overseeing finance, budgeting, operations, contractor management, leasing, and marketing with a tenacious attitude, determined to accomplish only the very best outcomes.
