**Description**:
The Role
The Finance Officer (General) reports to the Accountant and will perform their duties, in close collaboration with the Accountant, to provide sound accounting and financial management support to the organisation. The Finance Officer (General) will bring strong accounting, financial and analytical abilities, complemented by well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. The role of the Finance Officer (General) is to process Argyle’s day to day business transactions accurately, completely and on a timely basis ensuring compliance with regulatory and other reporting requirements.
**To ensure success in this role, you will demonstrate**:
- Debit run processes; Invoicing and Receipting.
- Money Movements; Refunds.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Provision of general support and assistance to members of the Finance Team.
- Provide support for Team members that are absent, sharing the absent Team members' responsibilities with the remainder of the team to ensure that tasks normally undertaken by the absent team member are completed accurately before the absent team member returns to work.
**Skills and Experiences**:

Relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a small team with limited direction and demonstrate problem solving skills.
Ability to prioritise own work and to take the initiative and responsibility for ensuring deadlines are met.
Ability to complete workload with an analytical approach and maintain confidentiality.
Demonstration of a consultative and collaborative interpersonal style with a good team player attitude.
The ability to effectively and constructively respond top information requests and queries.
