This is an exciting long-term part-time opportunity for a committed, caring and experienced Accounts & Payroll Administrator reporting to the Senior Finance Officer.

On offer is a part-time role (0.6 FTE), with the spread of hours over the working week open to discussion. The role is competitively remunerated and offers access to not-for-profit salary sacrificing up to $18,500 per annum.

**About the Role**

This is an exciting, part time opportunity for a committed, caring and experienced Accounts & Payroll Administrator. Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

- Process payroll on a fortnightly basis, ensuring compliance with legislation and awards.
- Entry of supplier invoices and process accounts payable on a weekly basis.
- Prepare customer invoices in a timely manner and tracking payments.
- Reconcile bank transactions and accounts, including credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with grant acquittals and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate employee leave and entitlement records.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- File financial records and documentation.
- Respond to internal and external finance-related queries.

**About you**

We are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Accounts & Payroll Administrator who is passionate about the organisation's mission, has a strong value alignment with ours and is committed to making a positive impact in supporting people with rare and less common cancers.

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:

- Certificate or Diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration.
- 2+ years experience in a similar accounts role.
- Familiarity with Xero and payroll software.
- Strong Excel and data entry skills.
- Knowledge of employment standards and payroll legislation.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Not-for-profit experience.
