**About the Role**:
This is a six month fixed-term Paralegal role reporting to the General Counsel within Melbourne Water’s Legal Team. Working as Paralegal you will be responsible for providing high-quality and confidential paralegal support and assistance across the Legal Team, including:

- Working across the Legal Team supporting a diverse mix of legal matters including regulatory advice, transactional work and litigation
- Organising and participating in meetings
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting of letters and other legal correspondence
- File management and matter management
- Reading and interpreting laws, regulations, contractual and other related documents
- Assisting with legal document management and discovery processes

**About you**:

- Understand legal terminology and are quick to pick up new concepts
- Hold strong organisational and time management skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
- Have an eye for detail and enjoy working in a team environment

At Melbourne Water we work in a Structured Hybrid environment, meaning that at least half of your working time is based at your primary work location. This team is based in the Docklands office.

This role is graded a Melbourne Water EA Level 3. The salary on offer is $84,401.04 package.
