**Lindsay Transport is currently seeking MC Linehaul Drivers to join the team at our Melbourne Depot. We have casual opportunities to work Friday, Saturday or Sundays.**

Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.

Today we employ over 1500 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.

**About the role**:

- Working with temperature sensitive produce
- Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
- Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner
- Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight
- operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles, B-triples and road trains
- Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists
- Using a forklift to assist the loading of freight for delivery

For the weekends departure times will be between 1pm and 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

**About the requirements**:

- Experience Driving B-doubles
- MC class Licence
- knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems
- Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential)
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience transporting chilled freight, frozen freight or livestock is highly respected

To be successful for this role applicants must:

- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Provide a current traffic print out
- Be prepared to work weekends as required
- Be well presented, professional and reliable
- Have a MC class licence

Previous refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.
