Sunshine Coast, Australia Maintain Coastal Services Pty Ltd Full time $45,000 - $60,000 per year

MCS is a company based in Baringa on the Sunshine Coast. We specialize in industrial maintenance and machinery installation. Our team of fabricators builds a wide array of support equipment for our industrial installations including platforms, stairs, ladders, conveyors and other material handling equipment. We also manufacture stainless steel food grade conveyors, augers, tanks and platforms.

Maintain Coastal Services (MCS) is looking for a general labourer or trades assistant to assist with works onsite and in the work shop.

General duties will include:

  • Pick-up and delivery of parts and equipment around the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane area.
  • Assisting our tradesmen in the workshop with measuring, cutting and assembly of fabricated components.
  • Assisting our tradesmen onsite with delivery and installation of structures and machinery.

What we require of you:

  • Industry Induction white Card.
  • Manual Licence Open or Green P.
  • Some previous experience in Construction or workshop Labouring or T/A.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions is a must.
  • The ability to work overtime and Saturdays when required.

Working at heights, EWP and a forklift licence would be well regarded.

This job with be casual to start with with the option to move to full time for the right candidate.

This role is 6am-2pm Monday to Friday with some overtime, Saturdays and Sundays required. All overtime is paid per the award.

3 hours time and a half then double time after 8 hours on week days.

4 hours time and a half then double time for Saturdays.

Double time all day Sundays.
