We now have an opportunity for a **Master Data / EDM Analyst **to join our team. Based at our head office in Mentone / Moorabbin and reporting into the APAC Enterprise Data Management Lead, you will be responsible for routine / non-routine tasks involving entering, updating, cleansing and maintenance of selected enterprise system master file details. As part of these activities, you will ensure the data is accurate, meets the master data standards and business rules and, meets the needs of the business.

**What you will do**:
You will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of master data origination and maintenance requests across multiple enterprise systems. The Master Dater / EDM Analyst follows robust internal control processes to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and conforms to business rules and data standards. The role requires independent judgment and decision-making skills along with strong communication and organisational skills to engage with internal business partners and external customers and suppliers to collect and verify the accuracy of data. Your role also serves as a data steward for at least one master data domain and / or an enterprise system.
- Ensuring master data file updating and maintenance processes are effective, making improvements where required.
- Coordinate and follow through master file data maintenance requests to prevent unexpected impacts on Business Intelligence solutions, other enterprise system modules or operational processes.
- Analyse system data integrity reports and data processing issues communicated by users, promptly and proactively researching and resolving inconsistent or inaccurate master file details.
- Maintaining a clear understanding of enterprise master file relationships to related system files, business processes, and standard system generated reports.
- Extract, compile, and validate comparative master file details to ensure Simplot Australia business process and reporting objectives are not impaired by inconsistent or inaccurate data.
