**Job description**

We are looking for 2 x Certificate 3 educators.

1 x Certificate 3 educator to work Monday To Friday 8:00-3:30 (35 hr week)

1 x Certificate 3 educator to work Monday to Friday 9:00 - 4:30 (35 hr week)

**About Us**

We are open 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Children’s Preschool is located in Glenhaven. The service has a professional, kind, and supportive team that provides quality education and cares for 30 children aged between 3 - 6 years old.

There is an emphasis on creating a home-like environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn. We have a close-knit and supportive community of educators, families, and children.

We provide a daily outdoor/indoor program in an expansive 1154 sq metre natural setting, with natural grass, a well-established Bush Tucker garden, fruit trees, and a mud kitchen, which we all care for.

We have aesthetically pleasing, large light filled indoor play spaces.

We are a very well-resourced service, having an abundance of learning materials to support a quality education and care program.

We choose to have a multi-aged learning environment, which enables children to learn from one another and have quality interactions with all educators.

**Selection Criteria for this position**:
**Legislative**
- Certificate 3 qualification in Education and Care
- Current First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate
- Current Working with Children Clearance check
- Current Child Protection training and understanding of Mandatory Reporting procedures.
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Authorization to work in Australia

- Must have a sound understanding of play-based environments
- Must like the great outdoors and have an interest in sustainability and nature.
- Able to support team leaders in their programming and planning
