**The Opportunity**:
A rare and exciting opportunity has become available in our Operational Management team. We are looking for someone who has the skills, expertise and experience to really drive Buttercups philosophy as one of our Area Managers. You will be at the forefront of our operations, leading our teams at our current and new services in your Area. You will be responsible for ensuring that your Services are running to their optimum efficiency, all while getting to know our children, families and staff.
Your responsibilities include:
- You will lead, inspire and mentor our equally passionate Centre Managers on how to train, engage and lead their teams.
- Working directly alongside our other Area Managers and Managing Director to ensure compliance, quality improvement plans and education programs are implemented and embedded to the highest of standards. and **exceeding **expectations, while maintaining a **‘childcare first’** approach.
- Ensuring your allocated Services are embedding the Buttercups philosophy, values, goals and policies fully into their daily activities.
- Being a ‘driver for change’.

**What you’ll bring**:
You have at least two years’ experience in this or a similar role. You exuberate leadership that fosters a strong team culture, ensuring the highest level of care is maintained at all times. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills which you leverage to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders for Buttercups.
You have a demonstrated deep understanding of the Education and Care Regulations, EYLF, NQS and Children’s Services Award as well experience with assessment and rating.
**Must haves**:
- Bachelor of Education in early Childhood or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with relevant experience or Diploma of Training and / or Business Management (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in managing multiple Services at one time (5+).
- Have previously performed in an Area Managers role for 2+ years.
- Demonstrated experience of leading and supporting Centre Managers and teams, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Capabilities to assist in the development and implantation of policies and processes ensuring best practice.
- Experience in conflict resolution, performance assessments and workplace relations.
- Ability to work autonomously and across various locations with the flexibility to travel across all metro locations is a necessity.
- Understanding and drive to meet KPI's, and assist centre's in driving their individual KPI's.
- Currently hold the following - First Aid certificate, WWCC, Police Clearance
**Salary**: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
