Maintenance Planner

**The Opportunity**:
Komatsu is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule all parts, labour, and sub-contracting requirements pertaining the Batchfire Callide Komatsu MARC Agreement in a Safe and Cost Efficient Manner and providing Customer Value as set down in our Customer Support Charter.

**Roster: Monday to Friday**

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Must have Motor Vehicle license
- Minimum Trade Qualification in the Maintenance and Repair of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment or extensive maintenance planning and scheduling capacity in the mining industry, preferably related to the maintenance of Komatsu 930E-4 haul trucks, and Komatsu Excavators, and WA1200-6 Loaders.
- Must be able to obtain a Qld Coal Board Medical and Qld Coal GI passport.
- Post Training and qualifications in Management /Supervisory Role. S11, S123, G2 Qualifications
- Excellent understanding and commitment to Safety
- Must be able to manage Site Safety by actively engaging in a Zero Harm philosophy.
- The ability to communicate with end users at all levels, demonstrate an interest and understanding of end user operations and service requirements
- Appropriate demeanour for supervising, assisting and training Staff to create a positive “Team Atmosphere”
- Must have business management experience including but not limited to basic accounting knowledge.
- Must be able to monitor financial status on a regular basis to be able to explain actual v/s Budget to our Commercial Department.
- Computer literacy at both the PC level and mainframe level.
- Strong computer mainframe experience including Microsoft suite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Linkone and R&M Care.
- Well developed written and Oral Skills
- Ability to communicate with Customers, Komatsu, KMG, KAC, Cummins and Visitors at all levels, both written and verbal.
- Must have a working knowledge local and mine specific, Environment, OH&S, and Industrial Legislation.
- A Self-starter who is able to achieve goals unsupervised
- A person who is focused on positive customer outcomes
- Previous Experience with Oil Analysis.
- Previous exposure and understanding of the principles of the Komatsu KAIZEN System would be highly regarded.
- Previous exposure to a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) System would be highly regarded.
- Previous exposure to Komatsu Parts and procurement systems would be advantageous.
