As a UI Designer, you will be instrumental in delivering innovative, creative digital projects within a team of passionate specialists and have an opportunity to think through the framing of problems with a focus on end user needs and desires. As this is an interpersonal role as much as it is an ‘on the tools’ role, you will also understand the importance of client satisfaction and be on the lookout to develop positive relationships at every turn

**About You**:

- You have a strong desire to be the best at what you do (and a beautiful portfolio to show that)
- You have a depth and breadth of experience over the course of your career
- You are able to take complex features and requirements and translate them into elegantly simple user interface designs
- You have a wicked eye for detail and don’t settle for ‘just getting the job done’
- You work quickly to take a design challenge and develop your own plan of attack, bringing others in the team on the journey with you

**The Role**:
Here’s a sneak peek of your day-to-day:

- Contribute to end-to-end, user-centred design processes and methodologies, from conceptualisation, sketches and wireframes, through to prototypes and high-fidelity designs
- Confidently communicate your decision-making rationale to team members and clients
- Work independently with, or actively contribute to Vivo’s multi-disciplinary team
- Design and specify user experiences to meet commercial objectives and user needs
- Ground your work in observations, research and analytics to help you create well-informed concepts
- Liaise with strategy and development teams, ensuring design solutions are technically feasible and in line with project requirements and budget

**Experience**:

- Have excellent interaction and visual design skills with capabilities in prototyping, presentation, and user-centred design methods
- Understand what HTML/CSS and native UI frameworks can and can’t do
- Have strong interpersonal skills that see you drive, inspire and comfortably lead discussions with internal teams and external stakeholders
- You understand the importance of UX, and how it contributes to broader objectives through user interface design
- Have the ability to plan work and manage your own time with a high degree of independence
- Are proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
