Digital Content Coordinator required for an initial 5 month contract role based in Perth.

Role
- Coordinates the development, implementation and creation of governance of the clients internet and intranet business and information presence.

Duties
- Coordinates requests for new or redeveloped online touchpoints and publication of information on appropriate platforms, including collaborating with Corporate Communications to coordinate the execution of advertising, corporate communications and public relations strategies and key initiatives within the online platforms.
- Provides advice to the Manager Information & Data Management, on information online platform matters, including identifying opportunities and recommendations for expansion or efficiency modifications to the client's online platforms to enhance business processes.
- Provides support and guidance to business users on publishing information to the online platforms including approval channels.
- Participates in policy, planning and standards development to ensure the online platforms are appropriately governed.
- Track, measure, monitor, and communicate the key performance metrics (KPI's) of the client's online platforms, including accessibility and user experience as it relates to platform architecture and facilities.
- Oversees the management of content lifecycle and retention in line with legislative and policy requirements

Required skills/experience
- Considerable knowledge of the methodologies and technologies required for online information systems development; cross-platform, multi-browser testing; and implementation, including knowledge of new trends and developments in online technology.
- Considerable knowledge of legislation, standards and compliance requirements for managing government and public information and digital services.
- Demonstrated understanding of WA Government accessibility, WCAG 2.0 and web standards with a proven ability to implement accessibility techniques to online content.
- Considerable experience in supporting multiple CMS's (Drupal, Wordpress, Sharepoint etc) for large corporate enterprise.
- Experience with supporting and providing guidance for large communications groups in all aspects of digital communications at various levels
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
