We are a leading vendor to the transport, hospitality, and supply chain industry, and due to growth are now looking for an experienced individual to join our team in the warehouse. The Warehouse Operator and ad-hoc Delivery Driver is often a key point of contact for our current customers. They are also vital to ensuring warehouse operations are running optimally. This includes Goods In, Delivery Dispatch and liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders while reporting directly to the operations manager

Key Responsibilities:
Processing customer orders.

Stock control.

Breaking down of stock.

Receiving of goods in.

Loading stock into vehicles.

Manual handling of stock

Using the forklift to load stock onto vehicles if required.

Deliveries to local areas as required during the week.

Skills & Experience:
Proven track record of warehouse operation.

Forklift licence and demonstrated experience with operating forklifts (Or willing to obtain one).

High performance in a team environment, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers, including sharing knowledge and information as your opinion and experience is valued.

Strong numeracy and communication skills

Excellent eye for detail and accuracy.

Understanding of Chain of Responsibility.

Key Selection Criteria:
Firstly, Excellence in customer service

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented and high accuracy with data entry

Openness to learning new products

Forklift licence and manual car licence (Or willing to obtain)

Demonstrate a strong safety mindset

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 06/02/2025
