**About the role

Temporary full time opportunity to be responsible for the management of the delivery of a broad range of professional financial accounting services and the provision of expert advice to a diverse client base.

About you

Ensure the accurate identification and recognition of revenue, expenditure & payroll costs, and facilitate the timely delivery of complete and accurate financial reporting to internal & external stakeholders.
Ensure adequate controls and reporting mechanisms are implemented in order to maintain the integrity of the Health Service's financial records.
Ensure compliance with accounting and legislative policy as it relates to the recognition of revenue & expenditure.
Provide expert advice and recommendations, related to public sector financial management practices, incorporating legislative requirements, government policy and best practice to finance staff in Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
