**About the role**:
We have an exciting role available for a Merchandise Assistant to join our Hype Buying Team. Reporting to the Head of Buying your responsibilities will include providing operational support to the Merchandise Team, assist Buying & Planning teams in all relevant facets of inventory management which supports the overall company sales objectives, gross margin, and turnover results.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Weekly reporting including sales, planning, post season analysis and inventory reports
- Purchase order entry and maintenance
- Product set up including accurate product hierarchy and data integrity
- Management of store markdown slapdash reports and markdown and promotional entry maintenance
- Weekly store consolidation uploads
- Responsible for all communication of relevant information to retail and digital teams using the appropriate channels
- Prepare and review monthly store documents and presentations & Assortment Visuals
- Product & New Brand Knowledge
- Execution of presentations for buyers and planners inclusive of quarterly plans, business updates, Visual plans for new stores and ad hoc requirements.

**To succeed in this role, you will need to have**:

- Demonstrated experience within a similar role in retail
- A relevant University degree is preferred
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
- Always represents the Hype brand
- Up to date with current trends in the market
- Customer Obsessed
- Results driven
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Ability to work pro-actively
