Parts Interpreter

Job Description:
This position will be critical to responding to customer enquiries in relation to replacement parts. The main function is to deal with enquiries for the supply of replacement parts and assist customers to identify the correct part for their machine - all to a quality standard that results in a high degree of customer satisfaction. The role will promote a safety-first work culture across all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Participate in and comply with the company’s safety-first culture.- Oversee and manage key customers working closely with parts manager and storeperson to ensure smooth running of parts department and customer requirements met.- Ensure team targets are achieved, while ensuring compliance.- Assist customers with identifying the correct part for their machine and ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.- Preparation of quotes, purchase orders and other documentation, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of parts.- Ensure customers are kept informed of any changes to the promised delivery date.- Follow up on quotations with customers to further promote sales and note responses of special interest.- Closely monitor the Pronto reorder report and place purchase orders with suppliers for parts that are needed to either; replenish warehouse stock or for direct sale to a customer.- Liaise and direct the Storeperson to ensure all orders are dispatched in a timely manner.- Actively promote and sell Terex MPS and TWS replacement parts.- Regularly contact customers to establish levels of satisfaction with Terex MPS support and supply, including the prospect of doing future business.- Prepare and submit necessary reports.- Provide Accurate weekly forecast.- Assist in the maintenance of inventory to achieve turn rate and stocking levels to suit customer requirements.- Any other duties as directed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience- Experience in Pronto and MS suite is desirable.- Previous experience with Terex materials processing equipment would be well regarded.- Previous parts interpreting experience.

**Skills**:
- Relevant trade background or a strong mechanical aptitude.- Ability to read drawings and identify specific parts.- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, both internally and externally.- Good problem solving and communication skills.- Ability to prioritise deadlines.

Travel- Ability to travel to customers site within Queensland on an occasional basis.
