**Your new role**:

The
**Schools Engagement Officer** will assist in growing the participation of schools in our good works through planning and implementation of a variety of engagement projects and initiatives within the Sydney metropolitan region. The role will work collaboratively with the Schools and Youth team and the Central Council Youth representatives.

**The Schools Engagement Officer's responsibilities include**:

- planning and implementing projects, events and initiatives aimed at strengthening school engagement
- collecting information, analysing data, and preparing documents relevant to the delivery of projects
- building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**To be successful, you will need**:

- Demonstrated passion for working with children and young people in an empowering capacity.
- Proven project coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience providing operational and administrative support in teams working remotely and across various locations.
- Proven communication (including public speaking) and interpersonal skills across a range of mediums.
- Proven ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, members, volunteers and staff delivering a variety of services.
- NSW driver licence and capacity to travel within the region.
- Capacity to work intermittently out of hours, including weekends and evening events.
