**Disability Support Worker - Community Access | Birkdale, Brisbane**

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in their lives? Litaractive Care is seeking a dedicated **Disability Support Worker** to provide community access support for a young boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and non-verbal communication needs in the Birkdale area.

**About the Role**

In this rewarding role, you will:

- Provide one-on-one support to a young boy during community outings, social activities, and appointments.
- Engage him in meaningful activities that align with his interests and goals.
- Use your creativity and patience to help him navigate his environment and build confidence.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with his family and the Litaractive Care team.

**What We’re Looking For**

We are seeking someone who:

- Has experience working with children, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, or non-verbal communication needs (advantageous but not essential).
- Is patient, caring, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in child development.
- Can remain calm under pressure and has strong problem-solving skills.
- Holds a current driver’s license and has access to a reliable, insured vehicle (essential).
- Possesses a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and First Aid/CPR certification (or is willing to obtain these).

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
