**The Company**

This importer and wholesaler is a dynamic and innovative business, supplying products and services to customers around Australis. They have a strong culture based on results and outstanding service, developing world-class supply chains through all their divisions. Due to their rapid growth there is a new opportunity to develop and implement lead planning and distribution solutions across their operations.

**The Role**

Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for:

- Project manage the overall develop of the supply chain implementation including developing the project plan, milestones, risk management, communication and reporting.
- Work with the 3rd party providers to develop strategies to enhance the customer service levels, responsiveness and efficiency across the supply chain (end to end).
- Implement processes and framework, both internally and externally including with suppliers, to ensure the business is operating in best practice and enabling the supply chain to grow.
- Work cross functionally to understand business impacts and key objectives, as well as understand the commercial outputs and opportunities.
- Implementation of current and future key strategic projects relating to distribution operations.
- Build and develop a strategic plan based on people and process capability, automation, continuous improvement and engagement, which will deliver significant savings and improvements.
- Build framework across the supply chain operations.

**Your Background**
- Tertiary qualified, and ideally further post graduate studies
- Proven project management skills including the ability to develop the project plan, reporting and communication activities.
- Need to have extensive experience in supply chain, with a major focus on logistics (warehouse and transport) operations.
- Commercially astute, they must be able to understand financial reports, manage a budget and make commercial decisions. Excellent communication skills, a strong change management background, and an ability to deliver results are all necessary skills required to be successful.
