**About the role**
We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a **Principal - Category Management** to lead and develop strategic procurement initiatives, within our high-value, complex Operations and Maintenance Category. Based in Leederville and reporting to the Manager - Strategic Procurement, this role plays a key part in driving business savings, optimising spend and delivering commercial value across the organisation.

**What you can expect with this role**
**Your skills and experience**
As an experienced procurement professional, you will be degree-qualified in a business-related discipline and bring substantial expertise in strategic sourcing and category management. You have a strong track record of leading complex procurement engagements, developing commercially sound sourcing strategies, and negotiating with major suppliers to deliver value.
Your ability to manage supplier performance and post-award contracts will be key in supporting large-scale, high-value arrangements. With experience in multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed organisations, you’re confident working across diverse teams to deliver practical, impactful outcomes for our community.
