**About the role**

We have a permanent opportunity for a Commissioning Manager to join our Asset Commissioning team based in Leederville to undertake effective and efficient commissioning of new assets and asset enhancement projects to achieve required business outcomes.

**What the role will involve**
- Represent the Water Corporation as the Principal’s Commissioning Manager in Major Capital Projects
- Responsible for ensuring the Performance and Functional requirements for new assets have been identified, tested safely & results are reported to the Asset Owner.
- Review of various design and asset handover documents for the project team
- Preparation and review of commissioning plans, procedures, test plans and schedules
- Supervision and performance of field test sessions
- Functional review of SCADA & Control systems
- Coordination of technical teams undertaking commissioning tests, along with report preparation

**Key skills and experience**

You’ll have a qualification in Engineering, or a relevant Trade, along with substantial experience with project management, and/or operation of water treatment or pumping assets. Expertise in Electrical, Controls, and/or Instrumentation is preferred, but not essential. Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure and SCADA systems will be highly desirable. Your ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence with both internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
