**DECATHLON TEMPE (SYDNEY) IS LOOKING FOR YOU**

Decathlon is the world's largest sporting goods company with presence in over 55 countries worldwide. We are looking for the passionate sports lovers of Australia to join our start-up team. Each new teammate will help us serve our purpose each day; ‘Making sport accessible’. We started our Australian activity in 2016 with our online business, and we now have seven large stores across Sydney and Melbourne. We are currently recruiting for our Miranda store.

**DEPARTMENT MANAGER**:
**We are currently looking for ambitious learners who wish to join our organisation as Department Manager and want to grow and take more responsibility at a rapid pace aligned with our expansion strategy. There will be an extensive training program to follow for you to thrive.**

**As a Department Manager, you will be leading your own business from day one**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Your customers will be at the forefront of your attention, together with your team. You will provide amazing customer service to ensure your customers leave with a positive experience.
- You will build your department offer and present it through efficient and effective visual merchandising.
- You guarantee the availability of stock in your department, ensuring you have the right stock at the right time.
- Reach out into your community and work with your local sports clubs, schools, businesses to develop partnerships.
- You will help the company build a talent pipeline for future expansion, you recruit team members who are better than you are.
- Train and developing energetic teammates through down to earth management so each team member can thrive.
- You will have complete accountability for your department Profit and Loss account, you act with an entrepreneurial spirit when taking business decisions.
- You will take on even more responsibility by leading duty management procedures in the store. You will prioritise and manage customer and staff safety, store commerciality, building maintenance and customer satisfaction day today.
