**About the Role**

The Grateful Patient Program Lead will oversee the creation, implementation, and management of the organisation’s new grateful patient fundraising program.

In this role you will work in close partnership with the Donor Experience leadership team to build a strategy that will require collaboration across the organisation to ensure positive experiences and engagement with donors, volunteers, patients, and their families which will support with the advancement of philanthropy.

This is a role that requires you to use your communication and relationship skills to create meaningful engagement opportunities whilst also fostering a supportive environment. In addition to serving as the project manager on the implementation and coordination of the daily operations of the grateful patient fundraising program, the Program Lead will also be involved in annual appeals, major gift, community fundraising, communication, and operational projects for the program.

The Grateful Patient Program is a new program that has not previously existed at the organisation, and so this presents an exciting opportunity for a self-starer to build out this program by using proven skills in strategic development, project management and stakeholder engagement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Launch and manage the new Grateful Patient Program across the organisation
- Work collaboratively with the leaders to assist in the implementation of this fundraising program
- Manage the program ensuring all information is captured and donor journeys are mapped
- Determine appropriate stewardship practices for grateful patients to ensure growth and retention
- Collaborate with our Brand, Marketing and Communications team to create materials and increase visibility of the program
- Develop relationships across the organisation to generate high net-worth leads
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to increase awareness of the program
- Deliver regular financial and operational reports

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated strategic and project management skills
- Ability to plan, develop, deliver, and monitor large projects achieving outcomes and timelines
- Experience managing fundraising programs or campaigns is ideal
- Proven stakeholder management skills, ability to engage with a range of people including hospital staff and patient families
- High levels computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and using CRM database
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage changing timelines
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills
