ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE?
The purpose of the Production Manager is to drive world class Safety, Quality, and Production initiatives through leadership and collaboration with a diverse and dynamic workforce. The Production Manager will be responsible for the day to day associated production/manufacturing activities for the factory. The Production Manager will also be required to work closely with other functions Supply Chain, People and Safety, Quality, Purchasing, Finance to achieve production output, quality, and cost targets whilst maintaining a safe and harmonious work environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
ABOUT YOU
You bring with you strong production management experience within a continuous improvement manufacturing environment, coupled with an excellent understanding and working knowledge of workplace health and safety.
Essential is your experience within Lean manufacturing, and leading large teams. We expect that you likely have formal qualifications in engineering, however, if you have relevent experience without the qualification, please still apply
Desirable would be experience in Lounge or furniture manufacturing, but not essential, as well as Production scheduling.
